Where are SURGmatic instruments developed and produced?
They’re 100% Made in Germany. All instruments are exclusively developed and manufactured in Germany.
What are the main differences between SURGmatic and SURGmatic Pro contra-angle handpieces?
The main differences are as follows:
- Increase in the maximum torque to be transmitted from 55 Ncm to 80 Ncm with the SURGmatic XL Pro.
- Optimised chuck system for SURGmatic XL and L Pro for a longer service life for shanks.
- The optimised gearing of the SURGmatic XL has now also been adopted in the SURGmatic L Pro for a longer service life.
Can drills and screw-in tools without a HEXAGON shank also be used with instruments that include the HEXAGON chuck system?
Yes. However, this precludes the benefits of the max. torque transmission of 80 Ncm and the durability of the instruments and tools.
Please only refer to this poster if you are practicing in the US, as those standards are only valid in the United States of America.
